Aida Ines Tejeda, born April 2, 1956, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026.

Aida was the beloved daughter of the late Dionicio Cruz Burgos and the late Juana Rivera Ortiz, and the devoted wife of the late Juan Vinicio Tejeda. She was a cherished sister, loving mother, devoted grandmother, proud great-grandmother, and a dearly loved aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom she held close to her heart. She is survived by her loving sisters Eugenia and Marta, and her brothers Luis, Eugenio, Angel Luis, and Adalberto. She was preceded in death by her siblings Maria "Mamin," Victor, and Jose.

Aida was a sweet soul whose kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She had a deep love for cooking, and her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness. Through her meals, she expressed the love and care she held for her family.

She was the proud mother of four children: Yajaira, Leo, Juan, and her youngest son Jose Michael, who preceded her in death in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Vinicio Tejeda. Aida carried the memories of those she loved deeply in her heart, honoring them with enduring love.

Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her unconditional love, guidance, and nurturing spirit.

Aida will be remembered for her generous heart, her quiet strength, and the love she freely gave. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Calling Hours for Aida will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4pm-8pm. Graveside Services will be held at a later date to be announced at Pine Grove Cemetery.
