Al attended St. John's in Swampscott and joined the Air Force in 1944. He lived in Lynn where he worked as a mechanic. He moved to Salem, where he retired.
Albert Leo Grenier is preceded in death by his father and mother, Leo A. Grenier and Melvina (Saulnier) Grenier, as well as his two sons, Ricky Mulcady and Edward F. Grenier, a daughter Dorothy (Grenier) Milburn, his brother James Grenier and nephew Richard Levasseur, Jr.
Al is survived by his daughters Lorraine Grenier Funck, married to James Funck and his grandson Marc Grenier, 3 great grandchildren, Tatianna, Evie and Alexandra, all of Fredericksburg, Virginia, as well as his daughter Michelle Grenier and her children Hannah Lingaitis and Alexis Grenier all of Beverly, Mass. His sister and her husband Jacqueline (Grenier) Levasseur and Richard Levasseur of Peabody. 5 nephews and 2 nieces.
