Antonita Porter, 72, died peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on July 24 ^th , 2020 after a valiant battle with lung cancer.

Born in New York, Antonita was a longtime resident of Lynn.  She worked for 42 years at General Electric and Ametek where she created lifelong friendships.  Antonita was strong in her faith, loved gospel music and singing at church. She was an extremely generous person, always giving to anyone in need.  Antonita was a great cook and loved to feed people.  Her smile could truly light up a room.

Antonita is survived by her daughter Gladys Henry of Beverly, Son Al Porter and his wife Tara of Lynn, grandchildren Lydell and Octavia Henry of Beverly, and Chantelle, Jaylen and Sydney Porter of Lynn, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
