Flynn, Barbara (Douskey)

Barbara Douskey Flynn 83, of Peabody, MA formerly from New Fairfield, CT
passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021. Barbara was born in New Milford, CT on
Dec 8, 1937, daughter of Michael Douskey and Elizabeth Lathrop Douskey. She
was a dedicated nurse for 43 years at New Milford Hospital and received her RN
training from Stamford Nursing School in CT. She was an avid crochetier donating
100's of handmade blankets throughout her years and loved a good crossword
puzzle or game of cribbage with family.

Barbara was married to her loving husband James C Flynn for 54 years. She is
survived by a son Michael C Flynn and his wife Barbara Young; two daughters
Roberta Catania and Suzanne Bayreuther and her husband David; nine
grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Theresa, Anthony, Christopher, Nicholas, Alison,
Lauren, and Stephen; and two great-grandchildren; Hunter and Jasper.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on August 21, 2021 at 11:00AM, at St.
Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Road, New Fairfield, CT 06812.
