Barbara Anne Legere, age 86, passed away on May 5th, 2026, at Life Care Center in Lynn, MA. Barbara was born and raised in Dalhousie, NB, Canada, with her siblings Jackie, Ernest, and Carmel. She moved to the US in 1963.

She leaves behind her son Wayne and his wife, Linda. Her grandsons Ryan and Brandon, and her great-grandchildren Peyton, Ryleigh, and Matthew.

Barbara was an administrator for the Family Rest Home in Lynn, MA, for many years, where she met the Hosker family. She went on to work for the Hoskers caring for their son, John. The Hoskers were family to Barbara.

Barbara was a well-loved, generous woman with a feisty, spirited approach to life.

No services will be held. A celebration of life will be planned for her close family and friends.
