Obituary

Bradley Libbey, Sr., a longtime resident of Lynn, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Lois (Willard) Libbey, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion. Bradley is survived by his loving wife, Lois; his devoted daughter, Debra Fabrizio of Lynn; his son, Bradley Libbey, Jr.; his son-in-law, Chuck Braga of Newmarket, New Hampshire; his cherished granddaughter, Vivian Alfaro, and her husband, Carlos Alfaro, of Salem, New Hampshire; his two beloved great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Ruth Springer and the late brother-in-law Arnold Springer of Saugus, and sister-in-law Donna Libbey and the late brother Maurice Libbey of Illinois, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews. Born in Augusta, Maine, Bradley was raised in Lynn, where he spent most of his life. In 1961, he met the love of his life, Lois, beginning a lifelong romance that culminated in their marriage in 1963. Bradley proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning a long career with General Electric in Lynn, where he worked until his retirement. Above all else, Bradley was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He treasured time spent with his family and found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved reading the comic pages in the newspaper, admiring and collecting antique automobiles, and creating lasting memories while vacationing with those he loved most. Bradley's kindness, dedication to his family, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Stroke Foundation. Burial services will be private.
