Brenda M. Jackson (Lewis) A long-time resident of Lynn, MA; Brenda died on July 29, 2023, after a brief illness at Dexter House Healthcare center in Malden, MA. Brenda was 81 years old. She was born on September 19, 1941, in Cambridge, MA to Mary Hector and Clifford H. Lewis, Sr.  Brenda was raised in Salem, MA, and a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1960. She moved to Derry, New Hampshire in 1970 and worked for Raytheon for many years. Brenda returned to Massachusetts in 1983 and soon settled in Lynn.  She worked as a machinist at the Analogic Corporation in Peabody for many years before her retirement.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her husband, George Jackson, III; her brother Bennet Lewis, her sister Arlene Collins (Lewis), her brother Clifford Lewis, Jr., and her long-time partner, Julio M. Diaz, Jr.

Brenda is survived by her sister Marianne Harris and her husband Richard Harris, Sr. of Saugus, MA, and their three sons; her daughters, Crystal Jackson of Lynn, MA and Tiffany Diaz Bercy of Lynn, MA; Tiffany's husband, Alan Bercy; Brenda's grandchildren, Jarel Serrano of Hudson, NH, DeVon Bercy of Lynn, MA, and a great-grandchild, Jackson King Serrano. Brenda is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family, and close friends.

Services will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 24 St. Peter Street in Salem, MA at 2pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023, followed by a burial service at Greenlawn Cemetery located at 57 Orne Street in Salem, MA where Brenda will be laid to rest next to her late husband, George.
