In Loving Memory of Brian Emanuel
Brian Emanuel of Lynn passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, at the age of 65.
He was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Tech class of 78. A loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend passed away leaving behind a legacy of grit, loyalty, and unforgettable character. He is survived by his two children, Sarah Emanuel and Brian Emanuel Jr.; his beloved sister, Susan Barnes; his cherished granddaughter, Felicity Miranda; his wife Jeanne Emanuel, though no longer together, maintained a bond of mutual support throughout the years, and a close-knit circle of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will miss him deeply.
Brian was a proud and hardworking machinist, retiring from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) after over 20 years of dedicated service. He also lent his skills to Lundy's Iron and C&C Machinery, where he was known for his precision and strong work ethic.
Those who knew Brian will remember him as a man of contrasts—tough as nails, sometimes stubborn, and not afraid to speak his mind. He could be a pain in the ass, and he knew it. But beneath that rough exterior was a fiercely loyal soul who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. If you needed him, he showed up—no questions asked.
Brian's life was marked by deep connections, hard work, and a unique sense of humor that could light up a room—or start a debate. He will be remembered not just for who he was, but for the way he made people feel: seen, challenged, and ultimately, loved.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
