Carla Marie Murphy, age 58, died peacefully on July 12th at Beverly Hospital surrounded by her closest family.
Carla is survived by her son Vinny Murphy and his wife Samantha of Newton, NH, her mother Lucille (Weyler) Murphy of Beverly, MA, her sister Rhonda (Murphy) Craig of Hamilton, MA, her nieces and nephews Jenna Janes and husband Jon, Kathryn Craig, Kyle Craig and Mason Craig, her long-time love and father to her son, Vincent Peluso of Beverly, MA, as well as many more family and friends who will miss her deeply.
Carla is preceded in death by her father Richard "Dick" Murphy of Lynn, MA who is buried at Puritan Lawn. She will be laid in her final resting spot next to her niece Danielle Craig in peaceful Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carla was born on November 18th, 1958 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital to Richard and Lucille Murphy. She was raised in Saugus, MA. She attended the Randolph School for the Deaf. Carla spent time working and volunteering at the Perkins School for the Blind. She was involved with the deaf community and would enjoy various outings with them, especially candlepin bowling. She enjoyed watching the Patriots and the Red Sox. Carla spent the last 15 years at the Danvers Home for the Deaf. Carla always had a smile on her face and loved her family very much. The simple things in life made her happy. One of which was the color purple and Dunkin Donuts iced coffee.
Her pride and joy was her only child Vinny. Her face would light up every time she saw him. She was truly looking forward to the arrival of her first grandchild at the end of July. Vinny and Samantha know that Carla will be looking over Teresa Murphy as her guardian angel. Carla left many memories for her family and friends to cherish for the rest of their lives.
Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, July 20th at 1:30PM for family and friends. Service will be held at Puritan Lawn in Peabody.
