Carol Susan Mowatt (Tremblay), 66, of Portland, Maine, passed away on December 29, 2025.

Carol was born October 25, 1959, in Salem, Massachusetts, daughter of Lionel R. Tremblay and Sylvia A. Tremblay (Provencher). She was raised in Lynn, MA.

Carol married Mark P. Mowatt on March 17, 1984, in Maine where she resided. They were married for 42 years, before she passed. They had one daughter together, Melody R. Nwangburuka (Mowatt).

Remaining to cherish Carol's memory are spouse Mark Mowatt; daughter Melody Nwangburuka; step-son Christopher Hannah; son-in-law Ike Nwangburuka; grandchildren Zachary and Samantha Nwangburuka and Amaya Hannah; brothers Ronald Tremblay and David Tremblay; sisters Renee Tremblay and Judy Tremblay; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews whom she loved.

Preceding Carol in death are her parents, Lionel R. Tremblay and Sylvia A. Tremblay (Provencher); brothers, Mark Tremblay and Paul Tremblay; as well as her sisters, Laurie Lacorazza and Jeanne Osmond.

Her funeral service will be held January 17th at 11am at St. Agnes Church, 22 Boston Street, Middleton, MA. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton, MA.
