Carolyn Winifred Pettipas, age 99, of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, passed away July 9, 2018 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House.  She was the wife of the late Edward James Pettipas Jr., with whom she had shared 74 years of marriage.  Born and raised in Lynn, she was the oldest of seven children and the daughter of the late George Sr. and Marion (Prime) Warrington.  Carolyn was a homemaker.  She loved the beach, dancing, gardening and was an avid reader.  She also loved animals.  She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Gritter of Watertown, her son and daughter in law, Edward III and Constance Pettipas of Lynn, her sister Joan Warrington of Palm Harbor, FL, her grandson and his wife, Edward IV and Maria Pettipas of Lynn, her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, James and Jayda and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by George Warrington Jr., Donald Warrington, Jacqueline VanGelder, Marion Warrington and Joyce Horak.  A graveside service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, on Monday at 10:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited and may meet at the Boston Street Gate.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
