Carrie (Manchurowski) Page, age 58, of Peabody, passed away Thursday October 30, 2014 in Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of Gregory Page, with whom she shared sixteen years. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Carrie was an Air Force Brat, but spent most of her life in Peabody, and considered it her "home base". Prior to her retirement, she worked for Verizon as an equipment installer. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Carrie is survived by her son Eric Bassi and his wife Kim of Peabody, 6 grandchildren, Angelique "Angel" Bassi and Christian Bassi, both of Salem, Charles Connolly of FL, Stephen Bassi, Kayla Marie Ortiz and Lexxi Bassi, all of Peabody, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was the mother of the late Stephenie Bassi and Philip 'PJ' Bassi, and was predeceased by a special friend, Sophie. To carry out Carrie's wishes, relatives and friends are invited to a party at the Italian American Club, Blaney Ave. in Peabody, on Tuesday 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
