Catherine J. Bergen, age 75, a life-long resident of Lynn, lost her battle with cancer on March 2, 2020. After graduating from Lynn Classical High in 1962, Catherine went straight into a career with John Hancock Life Insurance, where she worked for 41 years becoming a supervisor.  Catherine was an avid reader, a dedicated Elvis fan, and a lover of all things Irish.  Catherine is survived by her brother John and his wife Carol Bergen, her niece Lori Bergen, nephew Brian Bergen, niece Lyn Gagnon and her husband Brian and beloved grand niece and nephew Gabrielle and Brett.    Services will be held at Goodrich Funeral Home on Monday, March 9 ^th at 11AM followed by internment, with a private family graveside.  For those desiring, memorials may be made to the North East Animal Shelter, Salem.
