Charles V. Doucette, "Buffy" or "Charlie", age 94, of Lynn, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021.  Charlie was the youngest of nine children born and raised in Reading, the son of the late Robert and Mary Louise (Harrington) Doucette.  He was a Veteran of WWII, serving with the Navy, and received his GED following his service.  He was a factory worker and was employed by Sanford Mills Rubber Shop in Reading.  Charlie resided in Lynn for more than 25 years, and enjoyed music and shows, especially Judy Garland tapes.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bertha Sullivan, Gertrude Nordstrom, Elizabeth Doucette, and Charlotte White and his brothers, Edward, Harold, Robert Jr. and George Doucette.  He is survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Charlie was grateful for his friends the Ellis Family from Reading and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Pendergrass of Lynn.

Visitation is Monday, 10:00 am. – Noon, with a service during that time in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
