IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Angelo
Karigianis
November 2, 2024
Charles "Charlie" Angelo Karigianis, the greatest man alive, passed away peacefully at his home on November 2, 2024.
Charlie was born on March 19, 1942 in Malden to the late Angelo and Stravrula (Pappas) Karigianis. Once a confirmed bachelor, Charlie met the love of his life, Dorothy "Bunnie" Purcell at the Greek festival in Lynn in 1982. The two shared 39 years of love and laughter raising their family together and supporting one another. Although their time together on Earth was cut short by Alzheimer's disease, their bond is undoubtedly eternal.
A true "GE Man", Charlie was a hardworking member of the local 201 often working overtime to support his family. He gave General Electric 42 years of distinguished service before his retirement in 2012.
Charlie worked hard and still found time to enjoy his life. He was an avid bowler at Lucky Strike Lanes in Lynn for many years. He loved watching football games, playing Keno, and sharing good times with friends he made along the way. He did everything for his family and was loved by everyone for his kind and generous spirit. He leaves behind: his wife Bunnie, his son Sean Newcomb and his wife Barbara of Deltona, Florida, his son Robert Newcomb and his partner Tammy Jacobson of Lynn, and his cherished grandson Nicholas Newcomb of Lynn who brought him so much happiness and joy. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, William Parish. He also leaves behind his furry friends Nova, Chickpea, and Kensi who brought him snuggly comfort.
Charlie's impact on this world will never be forgotten and his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Charlie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org (http://www.alz.org/)
