Chaz Lee Burton, age 26, of Lynn, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 due to injuries he sustained. Born in Salem and raised in Lynn, he was the son of Andrew L. Burton Jr. of Lynn and the late Pamela (Underwood) Burton. Chaz was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 2007 and attended North Shore Community College taking business courses. He was a fork lift driver, a union worker, for United Food and Commercial Workers at Restaurant Depot. He was also involved with the late Pamela (Underwood) Burton's (his mother) organization; Saving Our Souls Foundation. Chaz will be remembered for loving his family unconditionally. He was known in Lynn for his sense of humor. In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Andrew E. Burton of Lynn, his sister, Briana J. Burton of Leominster, his nephew, Xzavier Jean of Leominster, his grandfather, Andrew L. Burton Sr. of Peabody, and a large host of cousins, aunts and uncles. His funeral service will be held in the Zion Baptist Church, 4 Adams Street Extension, Lynn, on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 5-8 p.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home 128 Washington St., Lynn.
