Obituary

Christopher A. Taylor, aged 44, of Beverly and formerly of Somerset, died suddenly on August 15th, 2020 at Beverly Hospital.

Chris is survived by his wife Allison Taylor (Roepsch); his mother, Patricia-Ann Taylor; his sisters - Kelly Taylor and Kim Crowley; his aunts – Carol Taylor, Joyce Lynn Hilton and Sandra Reis as well as several nieces and nephews.

His father Michael Joseph Taylor passed away in 2012.

Chris and Allison were married on July 29, 2016, in Lynn, Mass. and lived in Beverly with their beloved dogs – Holly, then Neelah, and now little Frankie the cat.

In addition to loving his wife dearly and the adventures to New York City they took, he also loved animals, comedy, sports, and music.

Chris was a graduate of Rhode Island College. Through his life he had jobs as a radio DJ, online traffic reporter, and private investigator.  There was also a short stint in stand-up comedy.

But Chris's greatest passion in life was music.  He played drums in bands such as Freezerburn, The Dimwits, and Disco Rice. He also started and ran Winter Street Records for a brief time.

For him, the excitement of discovering new music or going to a live show had the same effect as a little kid opening Christmas gifts.  Chris was often the driving force in bringing people and bands together through music as he booked shows, tours and events.  Because of this talent, he has an extended group of family and friends deeper than he'll ever know.

Although Chris often may have seemed unapproachable due to his characteristic "Grumpy Face," anyone who did get to know him would tell you that was definitely not the case.

Chris didn't judge anyone and loved nothing more than being around his family, friends and good music.

There are no services at the current time but there will be a memorial setup for Chris in the future.
