Obituary

Corie (Grenier) McCarthy passed away unexpectedly in her home on September 8, 2021.

Corie loved her family and friends deeply and her presence left marks on all who knew her.  She was kind, caring, loved hugs, to make people smile, and large family gatherings. She marched in drum and bugle corps and winter color guard as the color guard captain of the Spartans of NH, The Suburbanettes of NH, and St. Catherine's of Sommerville, MA.  She enjoyed a twenty-five-year career in administrative assistant and sales work, was an avid reader, and was a member of many niche online communities. Corie's boys were her world and she found happiness when she reunited with her long-lost high school sweetheart.

Corie leaves behind two teenage sons Danny and Cameron of New Hampshire, her partner Michael Jayroe of Peabody, her brother Matthew Grenier and his wife Samantha of New Hampshire, and young nephew Everett. Corie is predeceased by her mother Linda LaVallee and her father Jeffrey Grenier.

Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, meeting at the main entrance.

In Lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to Corie's GoFundMe LINK memorial fundraiser.
