Curtis G. Mulcahy, age 59, a lifelong resident of Lynn passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2015. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Toomey) Mulcahy.
Born and raised in Lynn, MA, Curtis was the son of the late Richard B. and Claire (Frye) Mulcahy. He was a member of St. Joseph Church and educated at St. Joseph School and Lynn English High School.
Curtis was a self-employed landscaper and he loved his work. He was a perfectionist and a hard worker.
For relaxation, he loved to go camping with his family and his favorite destination was the Harold Parker State Forest in Andover.
He was the devoted father of Gordon Laro of Georgia, Patricia Harper & her husband Mike of New Hampshire, Florence Soden & her husband Robert of Salem, Curtis Mulcahy & his wife Angela of Lynn, Christopher Mulcahy & his companion Sherrie of Lynn and Kellene Mulcahy of E. Boston.
He was the brother of Michael Mulcahy of South Carolina, Eric Mulcahy & his wife Diane of New Hampshire, William Mulcahy & his partner Jim Moser of Lynn, Kelly Cooksey & her husband Marty of Middleton, Kerry Mulcahy of Lynn, Jefry Mulcahy & his wife Darlene of Lynn and the late Marlen Corrigan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Information: A prayer service will be held Wednesday, March 4th , at 11 AM in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
