Born in Massachusetts, Cynthia was the beloved daughter of the late William Arsenault of Maine and Jeanette Tyler of Lynn. She is predeceased by her husband George “Wes” Szafranski, Sr., as well as her sisters Debby Arsenault of Brockton and Sharon Tyler of Lynn.

Cynthia is survived by her loving children: George W. Szafranski Jr, Joanne Szafranski and Janice Szafranski of Lynn. She was the devoted grandmother to Ashley Szafranski, Kelley McCarthy and Keith McCarthy Jr. of Lynn. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Anastasia and Isabella Szafranski and Andrew Cormier of Lynn. She is also survived by her brothers Rick Arsenault, David Arsenault, Steve Arsenault and Greg Arsenault as well as her best friend Dana Whidden and her husband Al. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her with warmth and love.

Throughout her life, Cynthia found joy in the simple pleasures that brought people together. In her younger years, she loved spending time with her friends at Bingo, or taking trips to Atlantic City with her friend Jean. More recently, she cherished moment baking with the great-grandchildren or playing Cribbage with her brother Dave.

Cynthia’s unwavering love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She treasured the time spent with those closest to her, creating memories and bonds that will be cherished forever, like celebrating Christmas on New Years Eve with her best friend Dana.

May Cynthia’s memory bring comfort to all those whose knew her. Her strength, kindness, and enduring spirit will remain an inspiration to those she leaves behind.
