On Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025, our beloved Darryl Lorenzo Benjamin, age 61, peacefully gained his wings. Darryl was known and loved by many — a man with an unforgettable spirit, a big heart, and a love for football that ran deep. His laughter, wisdom, and presence brought warmth and joy to everyone who knew him.

Darryl leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Joanne Benjamin; his sons, Dion and Dante Benjamin; his grandson, "O" (Omere) Benjamin; his brothers, Greg McCloud, Michael McCloud, and Marvin Benjamin; nephews Justin McCloud and Marvin Benjamin; nieces Latisha Benjamin Daley and Ashley Lincoln; God-daughter Dakota Curry; and many other devoted family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Benjamin, and his sister, Anissa Benjamin.
