It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Michael Giffin, who left us on May 13, 2025, at the age of 40 due to complications following pneumonia.

David was born on August 3, 1984, to Susan Marie Giffin and Donald Scott McGill. He lived in Leominster, Massachusetts, where he worked in construction and was known for his quiet strength, kind spirit, and determination to do his best. A familiar face in town, David was often seen riding his bike to and from work—always modest, always steady.

Though soft-spoken, David had a presence that touched everyone who knew him. He was humble, gentle, and deeply caring—a friend you could count on, and a soul who gave without expecting anything in return.

Above all, David was a devoted father to his beloved 10-year-old son, Jaxson Comeau. His love for Jaxson was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in watching him grow. Their bond was filled with quiet moments, laughter, and a love that words can never fully capture.

David is survived by his son, Jaxson; his mother, Susan Giffin; his father, Donald McGill; his brother, Kevin Giffin, sister-in-law Deanna, and niece Penelope Giffin. He is also remembered by his grandparents Robert and Maureen Giffin; his Uncle Robert Giffin; Aunt Michelle and Uncle Chris Plourde; Aunt Tina Alexander; Uncle Joseph Giffin; Uncle Joe and Aunt Tina Long; and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother Carol Giffin, grandparents Geraldine Long and Donald C. McGill, and his aunt Maryann McGill Mondello.

David's quiet presence and gentle heart will be missed more than words can express.
