David P. Hunt passed away Thursday, March 9th, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Salem, Massachusetts to Helen and Kenneth Hunt of Peabody, Massachusetts.

Raised in Peabody, David as a little boy of 7 years old, used to walk around his neighborhood selling slingshots that he had made himself. He loved the outdoors, taking his two boys, Darrol and David camping on quite a few occasions. He had a career in Electronics from the age of 18 years old. He also loved meeting and talking to new people. His favorite songs were "Running with the Devil" by Van Halen and "Kiss This" by Aaron Tippin.

He is survived by his best friend, Rebecca Yood, and their beloved cat, Rose Yood; Timothy King, and many friends and acquaintances. He will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held for David at a later date.
