Denise M. Byrd, age 60, passed away October 13, 2016 following a brief illness. Born in Lynn and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Joyce M. (Robinson) Byrd. Prior to her illness, she was an assistant at Hogan Regional in Danvers. Denise enjoyed music and going out and mostly, her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Misty Byrd and Julius Byrd and Lucy Gouveia, all of Lynn, her siblings Jeffrey Byrd, Louis Byrd and Judith Byrd, all of Lynn, her grandchildren Jerome Byrd, Shantay Neal, Dayshawn Neal and Joshua Neal, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Her visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Sunday, 3:00-6:00 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be at a later date.
