Dennis S. Doucette, "Denny" age 66, of Lynn, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Born in Lynn and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late George L. and Sylvia (Leppanen) Doucette. Dennis attended St. Mary's Grammar School and graduated from Lynn Classical. He also attended U MASS for two years. A Vietnam Veteran, he served with the United States Air Force. Dennis had worked as an Electronic Tech, with Analogic Electronics in Wakefield and General Electric. He was a member of Post 6 in Lynn, a supporter of the VFW, a Red Sox Fan, an avid fisherman, bowler and hunter. He is survived by his sisters, Ruth Steveman and her husband Jack of Needham, Lucy Ward of Danvers and Janice Jackson and her husband Edward of Lynn, brothers John Ryan and his wife Hazel of Lynn, Robert Ryan of FL, Raymond Doucette and his wife Iris of Durham, NC and David Doucette of Lynn, as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Wednesday April 8, 2015, at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 4-7 p.m.
