Diane J. Dunn, a pillar of love, strength, and kindness, passed away on April 14th, 2025, after a long battle with lung cancer. Her remarkable life was a testament to her generous spirit, her unwavering devotion to her family, and her unshakeable optimism.
Born May 4th, 1951, Diane lived a life filled with purpose, passion, and adventure. Her infectious smile, her warm hospitality, and her compassionate heart earned her a vast network of friends, acquaintances, and loved ones, whose lives she touched deeply.
Diane was the wife of the late Robert A. Dunn. Daughter of the late Martin and Gladys (Jenkins) LeBlanc. Mother of Robert J. Dunn, and wife Susan, and Diana S. Ortiz, and husband Edward. Grandmother of Brianna A. Dunn, Robert A. Dunn, and wife Ariel, Edward Ortiz Jr. and Ayden Ortiz, also great grandmother to Danika A. Dunn, Cameron J. Dunn, Jordan R. Dunn, Zayn Ortiz, and the late Morgana A. Dunn and Madeline A. Dunn. Diane leaves behind one brother, James "Jimmy" LeBlanc, and wife Pat, a late sister, Patricia "Patty" Moriarty and two late brothers, Ronald "Ronnie" LeBlanc and Joseph "Chickie" LeBlanc. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Diane's impact extended far beyond her family circle. Her kindness, empathy, and generosity inspired countless people, from friends and neighbors to those she met in passing, throughout her life.
As a matriarch, Diane was the glue that held her family together. Her unconditional love, guidance, and support nurtured generations, shaping them into the people they are today. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the aroma of home cooked meals, making everyone feel welcome and loved.
As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary woman, we take comfort in the memories we shared with her, the lessons we learned from her, and the love she instilled in all of us. Diane's legacy will live on through our hearts, our actions, and the countless lives she touched.
Rest in peace, Diane. Your love, your light, and your memory will be deeply cherished forever.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend and may gather in the Goodrich Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
