On Friday, January 15, 2021, Donna M. Hornsby, loving partner and mother of two, passed away at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born in Chelsea to Rita R. and John D. Williams.  She was educated in Massachusetts and Maryland.  Donna worked as an administrative assistant for many years at C.A.B., always going the extra mile to help those through the recovery process.  In her younger years, Donna loved to party, go camping and dancing.  Later in life, she enjoyed BINGO and loved her scratch tickets.  People learned to not call her between 7:30 – 8:00 because Jeopardy was on.  Do not disturb!  She was known for her quick wit, her vast knowledge of many subjects and her kind and compassionate spirit.  She felt her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her children.  She is survived by her loving, long time partner Theresa J. Sylvia, her daughter Carrie A. Hornsby and partner Jay Peters, her son Jeffrey A. Hornsby and partner Catherine Deminie, and his stepson Matthew Whitcomb, her ex-husband Robert B. Hornsby, Ariel Williams who has a special place in her heart, her dog Pipette and cat Fancy Free, sisters Susan and Carol, brothers Rick and Tim and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Donna was preceded in death by her father John D. Williams and brother James Williams.  A sincere thank you to Robert Pelchat and Harry (Sonny) MacCabe for trips to New York and Virginia and all the special memories created when she needed them the most.  Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021, 10:00 a.m. – noon with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Visitation is in Goodrich on Wednesday, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
