Dossain O. Soares, age 49, of Lynn, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Evette (Douglas) Soares. He was born in Jamaica, the son of Lydia Soares of Lynn and the late Clovis Soares. He moved to the USA at the age of 12. He attended Greater Boston Academy. Dossain was employed as an automotive assistant manager, and worked for Caps auto parts and Advance auto parts. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Dossain Jr., twins Kareem and Kereen, three sisters, three brothers, nieces, nephews and a large extended family. He was the brother of the late Althea Soares. Funeral from the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Wednesday at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Breed St., Lynn, at noon. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday in the funeral home, 6-8:30 p.m.
