Eddy Antonio Marcelino, 64, passed away in his home on Monday October 18, 2021, in Brockton after a lengthy illness.

Eddy was born in the Dominican Republic on October 19,1956 to Leyda Cabrera and Fortunato Marcelino. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Marines as a Lance Corporal. He later went on to obtain his GED and open his own auto mechanic shop. Eddy, a long time Lynn resident, was an avid lover of music, dancing and cooking.

Eddy is survived by his loving daughters, Sandra, Iesha, Nakia, and Isabella as well as their mothers; Martina Minaya and Eddy remained married although living separately – They were soulmates and lifelong friends. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Amanda, Samantha, Isla, Ezra, Anika, and Jaiya.

He is predeceased by both of his parents and leaves behind his siblings, Ray Marcelino of Lynn, Bianca Marcelino of Jamaica Plain, Nury Marcelino of Roxbury, Francis Marcelino of Lynn, Richard Marcelino of Brockton, & Veronica Marcelino of Roslindale. Eddy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Eddy was a loving father, a son, a brother, uncle, nephew, cousin & friend. He will be greatly missed.
