Ediberto "Eddie" Lopez Cuevas, age 64, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023, surrounded by his siblings.  Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Rafael Lopez and Celia Cuevas.  He was a lifelong resident of Lynn and a graduate of Lynn English High School.  He was a fan of all New England Sports with the Bruins being his favorite.  He enjoyed playing baseball, ice hockey, dancing and Western films.  He was a member of the National Guard.  Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver and worked in demolition and construction. He also worked as a courier for Alert All Med. Eddie is survived by his siblings Miguel and his wife Pura, Efrain Lopez and his wife Rose, Jose Lopez and his wife Lynette, and Brunilda Lopez, all of Lynn, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eddie also shared a special bond and friendship with Lisa Croteau and Wifred Perry. Eddie is also survived by other siblings from Puerto Rico Rafailito Lopez, Irma Lopez, Glenda Luz Lopez, Adarberto Lopez, Milagros Lopez, Pedro Samuel Lopez, Evelyn Lopez, He was the father of the late Edward Sims and brother of the late Rubencio Lopez, Eva Lopez and Zorida Rivera.

Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Wednesday, November 29, 2023,  9:00 – Noon.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
