Eleanor Mae Thompson, born in Lynn July 15, 1930, passed away in her sleep Sept 20, 2020 in Colorado Springs, CO.  She resided in Lynn until 2017 and was the wife of the late Charles F. Thompson Jr. who she wed in 1948.  He passed on Sept 19, 2000.  She was also the companion of 15 years to John Quinn who died in 2016.  Eleanor worked in Lynn over 40 years in Leather Goods Manufacturing.

She was a resident of Louis Barett House 1992 – 2017 and a PACE participant 2002 – 2017 and resided in Colorado for the past 3 years.  She is survived by her children, Robert C. Thompson of Marysville, WA, Sharon L. Champigny of Oceanside, CA, Charles F. Thompson III of Alliance, NE and Mary L. Cheek of Colorado Springs, CO, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Friday, 10:00 – 12:00.  Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, with a graveside service.  Relatives and friends invited to attend.
