IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emmanuel Johnson
Bryan
September 29, 2024
Emmanuel was born on March 31 2001 in Beverly hospital to Petrina and Vaughan Bryan. He grew up in Lynn with his siblings Elijah and Olivia and went to Edgewood Elementary school. He graduated from Edgewood and went to GBA for his freshman, sophomore, and junior year. He attended South Lancaster Academy for his senior year and graduated in 2019. After graduating high school, he went to Oakwood University with aspirations of becoming a lawyer. He would have graduated in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in pre-law.
Emmanuel loved a good debate
He enjoyed playing basketball, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
He was a man of the people and everyone loved him. He was very charismatic and made friends wherever he went.
For those of us who knew Emmanuel, his smile and laughter will forever be engraved in their hearts. He had a way of showing people he cared about them and love everyone he came across. He was selfless and always put others before himself. He would ask you how your day went, offered help in any way he could, and always assured you that everything will be all right.
He was studying Exodus posted that "We should not make folly claims nor associate ourselves with the unrighteous and be in alliance with them…regardless of the reason, we should not follow the crowd if they participate in evil actions, we should separate ourselves. Neither should we corroborate to diminish rightful judgment and (Emmanuel said "I think both of these are important").
We shouldn't oppress a foreigner because we were exactly that in the land of Egypt so we should understand and empathize with those who may feel as we felt rather than attack them.
He posted a lot of bible verses and we look forward to seeing him again when the last trumpet sounds.
1 Corinthians 15: 52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
