Esther Elizabeth (Fowler) Coleman, age 74, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024.  Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Esther Marie (Aldridge) Fowler.  She was a graduate of Lynn Classical, Class of 1968 and went on to attend New Hampshire College in Manchester and Franconia College.  Esther had been a member of St. Stephens Church and later Cathedral Faith Lynn Church.  She enjoyed sports, the YMCA, baseball with the Police Athletic League and going to Revere Beach.  Esther liked traveling to Miami, Motown Music and mostly time spent with family.  She was also a member of the PACE program.  She is survived by her daughter Esther Coleman, her grandson Dante Howard, her longtime partner of 25 years Henry Avinger, her brother Jesse Fowler, her twin sister Easter Wheeler, many nieces and nephews: among them; Beatrice Wheeler, Marie Wheeler Sams, Douglas Fowler, Michael Fowler and Thomas Fowler and extended family and friends.  She was the sister of the late Linda Fowler and Crystal Fowler.

Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a service at 1:00.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
