Eugene "Buddy" Swanson, age 86, of Nahant, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Jesmond Nursing Home. Born in Lynn, he was one of twelve children, and was the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Tully) Swanson. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. Prior to his retirement, he was a baker. He loved movies and was a real "movie buff". Buddy is survived by seven siblings, Barbara Aznavoorian of Winthrop, Robert Swanson of FL, Paul Swanson of Danvers, Richard Swanson of Lynnfield, Philip Swanson of Lynn, David Swanson of Saugus and Geraldine Poulin of NH, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
