Obituary

Frances A Taggart, a lifelong resident of Lynn passed away after a brief illness at the age of 85.

She was a graduate of Classical High School. She was employed at Lynn Economic Opportunity (LEO). During her employment of 43 years, she held various position within the LEO organization and retired as the head of the Fuel Assistance program.

She was heavily involved in the Lynn community. She served on the Board of Directors' of several organizations including: NAAP, CMCC, Senior Council on Aging, Community Brotherhood Club, and the Women's Auxiliary Club.

She was a founding member of the Brotherhood Women's Auxiliary and the Scholarship Program; she served several terms as President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer, in both the Brotherhood Club and the Women's Auxiliary Club.

In addition to supporting her community Frances was selfless and unwavering in her support of her family and friends. You could count of her to give you her honest opinion and advise without judgement. She was an avid sports fan, particularly when it came to watching her grandchildren play.

She could light up a room with her sassy attitude and beautiful smile.

Survived by her son & his wife, Douglas & Lisa Adgurson, her daughter Pamela Taggart. 6 grandchildren: James Taggart, Mitchell Purter, Samone Taggart, Troy Adgurson, and Melissa Adgurson, all of Lynn, and Monique Lee of Chicago IL. 8 great grandchildren: Tahj Purter, Marquis Beauregard, Mitchell Purter III, Bryanna McCarthy, Davonte Taggart, Naryah Johnson, Terrence Johnson Jr, Fred Purter and several neices & nephews.

She was predeceased in death by her brother Eugene (Budgie) Adgurson, her sister Virginia (Bubbles) Panton, her son James Taggart and her daughter Susan Taggart.

Private services will be held for immediate family. Her celebration of life will be held at a future date.
