George DeMille, age 82, passed away following a lengthy illness June 16, 2021.  Born and raised in Lynn, he was a lifelong resident.  He attended Lynn Schools and graduated.  For 22 years he was a foreman with Peabody Stahl USA and was employed with Stop & Shop in Swampscott as a cleaner for 20 years.  George enjoyed John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies as well as playing the lottery and scratch tickets.  He was a Veteran serving with the Air Force; 4 years – air police in Turkey and Korea.  He is survived by his wife, Florence "Sandy" (Brower) DeMille, sons Christopher DeMille, Corey DeMille, both of Lynn, Eric DeMille and Rose of Billerica, and Marc DeMille and Kelly of Pepperell, his siblings June Bursey, Arlene Grant, and David DeMeule, grandchildren Jarod DeMille, Anna DeMille, Clare DeMille, Thomas DeMille and William DeMille and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was the son of the late Joseph Napoleon and Frances (Bean) DeMeule, father-in-law of the late Michele DeMille and brother of the late Carol Roberts and Robert (Bob) DeMeule.  George will be loved and missed forever.  A memorial visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Saturday,2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
