George "Georgie" Hosking, age 17, of Lynn, passed away peacefully at home after a long courageous battle with cerebral palsy on Sunday, October 9, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn and was unconditionally loved by many. He was a happy boy and a fighter who loved music, colorful lights and joy rides in the car. He loved being read stories, adaptive skiing, dream night at the zoo and aquatic adventures. He enjoyed quality time with his Nana and his family. Georgie is survived by his mother Mariessa Lopez, his sister Milyana, his grandmother Brunilda Lopez, all of Lynn, his aunts Elissa Lopez of Lynn and Erika DeLeon of Peabody, he was cherished by many aunts and uncles including his Godparents Joe and Lynette Lopez of Lynn, as well as many cousins, friends and caregivers . Visitation will be in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Friday, 9a.m. – noon with a service held during. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the family and addressed to the Funeral Home.
