Born on May 27, 1947 in Boston. Beloved son of Martha Lee and was raised by his legal guardians, Edward and Virginia Humphries. "Ninny and Pop" and his brother James Thomas, nicknamed J.T. We were a close family living at one residence at 9 Fayston St. in Roxbury. George had no children but survived his life through loved ones and friends. George attended Boston Public Schools. Patrick T. Campbell by far was one of his favorite schools he attended. He also worked at Paul's Mall, a jazz club in Copley Square, Boston. He loved his job and was always eager to go to work. Doris Jones "Auntie Doris", his big sis stepped in and cared for George when his guardians passed on. Oh, how he loved his big sis Doris. George had a host of friends from Grove Hall and known through his friend as "Twist". He loved clothes and George would dress up especially Saturday night and he went out on the Town. George "Chico" will be missed. He was called in Eternal Rest on May 4, 2020. He is survived by family Doris Jones, Betty Royston, Mildred Chandler, Donna Jones, Barbara Thompson, Cheryl Thomas, Silvia Woodgetts and family, Adrienne Bullett and family, Karen, Tanya, Brian and family, James Thomas, Lang Jones, William Burton and Cassana Burton and family, Tara Jones, Tahari Jones, David Jones and family, Tracuy Wilson and family, Deborah Williams and family, D.J. John Nell and family and a host of many nieces and nephews. George "Chico" will be missed by so many people. Rest now, "Chico" in Paradise. May God Bless you always.
