It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Gladys Ortiz, who departed this life peacefully and with grace, joining her beloved husband and father in eternal rest.

Gladys was a devoted mother, cherished sister, loving godmother, and an inspiring teacher who touched the lives of countless students with her patience, wisdom, and compassion. Her warmth and strength were the foundation of her family, and her legacy of kindness and perseverance lives on in those she loved and guided.

She leaves behind her three devoted sons; Estanislao Ortiz Jr., Jadier Ortiz, and Chrisangel Ortiz, who were the pride of her life, as well as two precious grandchildren who brought her endless joy and laughter. Her unwavering love and nurturing spirit shaped not only her family but also the many lives she encountered through her years of teaching and service.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited in heaven with her husband, walking beside him once again, watching over the family they built together.

Gladys Ortiz's life was a testament to love, resilience, and selflessness. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

May her soul rest in peace.

Calling Hours for Gladys will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 4pm-7pm, at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, MA 01902. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 10am, at Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach Street, Revere, MA 02151; followed by Committal Services at Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston Street, Lynn, MA.
