Gloria R. Alexander, age 79, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, surrounded by her daughter, Gillian and granddaughter Laura.  She was the wife of the late Samuel Alexander.  Born in St. Patrick, Grenada, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Graham and Louvinia Thomas.

In the late 1960's, she came from Grenada to America during turbulent times to unfamiliar territory, and to the end up living the American Dream: building a small business, making many friends, being a part of the community, all the while making a loving home for her family.

Gloria loved going to the Salem Willows, taking walks along the beach, and cooking amazing traditional Caribbean food.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Gillian Alexander; her granddaughter Laura Alexander and her boyfriend Eric Murray; her sisters, Vivian Phillip and Dana John; her dearest friends Mrs. Doreen Powell and Mrs. Christina Caldwell; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend Gloria's visitation and funeral service on Wednesday March 22, 2023 from 3pm-7pm at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn.  A prayer service will be held at 5:00.
