Gloria DeFelice Furey O'Brien, age 87, of Lynn, passed away Tuesday October 21, 2014 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Donald Furey, with whom she shared forty years, and the late James O'Brien. Born in Lynn and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Freddie and Bertha (Nelson) DeFelice. Gloria was a loving mother who loved her children, and was caring and generous. She enjoyed sunning, shopping, cats and cleaning. Gloria is survived by her children, Donna of Colorado, Donald and Kevin of Peabody, Sharon and Kathy of Lynn, and was the mother of the late Stephen Furey. She was the grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of ten, and aunt of several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home 128 Washington St., Lynn on Friday, 10:00 a.m. til noon. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers.
