Harold D. Tower Jr., age 59, of Lynn, ended his fight with cancer May 25, 2018.  He lived in Gloucester for the past 10 years.  Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Edna Turkette and Harold Tower Sr.  He was a laborer, and loved being with family and hanging out with his grandchildren.  He was the companion of the late Mary Picanso and is survived by his daughter Melanie Cyr & Son Nicholas Tower of Lynn,  his sister Nancy Tower of Lynn and was the brother of the late Michelle Burgess, also survived by three brothers, Douglas Tower of Canada, James Turkette and Novia Turkette of Peabody, Step father Novia Turkette of Peabody, Aunt Margie Janakas of Lynn, granddaughters Brittany Tower & Aubrey Cyr of Lynn, Great Grandsons John Perez, Alexander Perez & Abel Perez of Lynn, also numerous nieces and nephews.  He will be greatly missed and was very loved.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.  If desired, donations may be made to Melanie Cyr and Brittany Tower for a stone at the animal shelter.
