Helen Catherine Keown (Tranfaglia - Crilley)  aged 67.

Helen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones following a courageous battle with Cancer.
Helen was born in Saugus, MA, on October 24,1956 to Philip and Frances Keown. She was the former wife of James Tranfaglia, with whom she had 2 children, and of Scott Crilley who she maintained a close friendship with. She leaves behind her children Susan Douglas and her husband Michael, and James Tranfaglia and his significant other Valerie Yentina. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Dana Coogan and his girlfriend Danielle, Daniel Coogan, Michael and Lily Douglas, and Luca Tranfaglia. She also leaves her brothers, Philip and John Keown.
Helen attended St. Patrick's Elementary school. She had a beautiful singing voice and was a soloist in the choir. She went on to graduate from Classical High School in 1974.
Helen was always full of life. She was always on the go and you couldn't take her anywhere without her knowing someone or getting to know someone. She was a lover of animals and a proud supporter of American Veterans. She loved shooting darts and was the captain of her team for many years in the Minuteman Dart League. She loved cooking and watching movies. Her love language was gift giving and making people happy. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Helen's wake will be held on Wednesday April 3rd at Goodrich Funeral Home in Lynn from 5-7 pm.
Her funeral mass will be on Thursday April 4th at Sacred Heart Church in Lynn at 10 am with her burial immediately to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
After the services, her family invites everyone to join them at Old Tyme Cuisine on Boston St. at 12 pm to eat and remember Helen.
