Henry Douglas Dickerson (Doug), 81, of Stoneham, MA, died June 7, 2025, at Lahey Hospital in his children's loving arms.
Henry is survived by his wife, Francine (of Florida), his 2 children (Desiree and Doug), 3 grandchildren, 3 step-children, their children, his youngest brother, nieces, nephews, loving ex-wife, and daughter-in-law.
Henry (Doug) was the son of Hazel and Henry (Bud) Dickerson. He had 1 sister, Betty Walker and 3 brothers: David, Gene, and Joe Dickerson.
Henry (Doug) was born in Cucumber, WV, a coal mining town. He was raised in West Virginia and graduated high school in Logan, WV with straight A's. Henry (Doug) then enlisted into the air force where he enjoyed training dogs at Pease Air Force Base. After his service in the air force, he settled in Lynn, MA to raise his family. He worked as a color matcher and running a fabric printing press at Hub Fabric and Leather. Henry (Doug) delivered newspapers until moving to Florida, where he started working at Walmart stocking shelves until age 77. He moved to Stoneham, MA to live with his loving daughter (Desiree).
Henry (Doug) was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
