James Brennan, age 39, of Dorchester, passed away December 7, 2025.  Born in Boston, he was the son of Doreen Boyd and James Brennan and the stepson of Peppy Boyd.   He is the grandson of Richard Gannett, Amy Gannett, Thomas Brennan and Sally Brennan, brother of Richie Brennan, Derek Boyd, Brendan Boyd, Nick Boyd and Jenna Boyd.  He is also survived by his son, Kingston Richard James Brennan, his daughter Juliannah Brennan and his girlfriend Katelyn Ferguson.  James graduated from Seaport Campus in Charlestown and he loved fishing, working on computers and loved being with family.  He would help people in need, and he was a great person who will never be forgotten.

A memorial gathering will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
