James Bryan Cordy (Francis), more affectionately known as "Jamie", was born November 13th, 1975 to Winston Francis Sr. and Karen A. Francis of Lynn. He was the third child of eight children who was raised in the small town of Lynn, and often expressed love and compassion for his city. He was a loving, kind and compassionate person. Throughout all his life, he enjoyed football and later went on and played for his High School, Lincoln Sudbury High until his graduation in 1995. Jamie loved to read and had a passion for cooking. He found a job he really loved working in the kitchen at Tufts University. Later he met the love of his life, now his wife, Shibhan Cordy. From this union, they had two children, Jelani and Rhiyanna. Jamie loved to laugh, have fun and joke. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed working with children and did not blink for a second when he was offered the opportunity to coach football. He dedicated his life coaching for the Boston Raiders Pop Warner team. Over the years Jamie's health began to fail. On July 13th, Jamie suddenly passed away of Congestive Heart Failure. Among those he leaves to cherish his fondest memories include his loving wife Shibhan Cordy, his children Jelani and Rhiyanna, his mother Karin A. Francis, father Winston Francis Sr., four brothers, Oral Francis, Ronald Francis, Winston Francis Jr., and Jordan O. Francis, three sisters, Kelly Francis, Aleethea J. Francis and Mariah Francis, as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A funeral service was held for him in the Goodrich Funeral Home on July 25th, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
