James J McGrail, formerly of Dorchester, MA passed away peacefully of natural causes July 10, 2017 surrounded by loving friends.

James is survived by his wife Jennifer (McCormick) McGrail, son Steven McGrail, daughter Emilia McGrail, mother Anne Rooney, brothers William McGrail, Christopher McGrail, James Rooney, Thomas Rooney, sister Annie (Rooney) Rounds, uncles William McGrail, Edward McGrail, Robert McGrail, aunts Theresa Vollemans, Katherine McGrail, Mindy Bourne, and friends Rob and Stephanie Hawker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

James was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend devoted to his family and a wonderful friend and companion to those close to him. All that knew James loved him for his zest for life, spirit of adventure and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed for his smile, his compassion and his fun-loving personality.
