James Schiazza, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on October 19, 2023.  He was born on August 16, 1950 in Lynn, the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Schiazza.  James was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Bennett and brother James A. Hunter.  James was born and raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as a carpenter for many years.  James is survived by his children Tina M. Schiazza and Angela L. Schiazza, his sister Elicia Hunter, brother Paul Hunter, his grandchildren Krista R. Galbin and her spouse Alex Galbin, Julian E. Rospide, Gabriella M. Rospide and Brianna L. Herman, his great grandchildren Darius, Noah, Alessia, Briella, Felisa and James and he is also survived by loving extended family and friends.  There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with family and always had a good joke to tell.  He will be missed dearly and will always be in our hearts.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to meet at the Pine Grove Cemetery; Boston Street Gate on Friday at 10:45 a.m. for a graveside service.
