James Wooten, age 55,  of Lynn Massachusetts passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts surrounded by family.

James is survived by his son Alex Beasley of Taunton, Mass and siblings Beatrice Wooten of Danvers, Mass , Frederick Wooten of Lynn, Mass and Richard Wooten and longtime girlfriend Erin Doherty of Peabody, Mass and Leaslie and John Raye of Lynn, Mass and Rosemary Wooten of  Peabody, Mass. He also leaves behind  several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

James enjoyed watching his nephews play football and basketball and as well as family cookouts and card games .

James is predeceased by his mother Ida (Thomas) Wooten and siblings Barbara ( Jean ) Wooten ; Aaron (Hank) Wooten ; Jimmie ( Lee ) Wooten and the grandson of  Fred and Lizzie Thomas.
