Janet Mary Collins, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Mabel A. (Hennessey) and I. Henry Collins.  Janet attended St. Mary's and graduated from Essex Agricultural School and was the owner of Karisma Salon before her retirement.  Janet loved all games of chance including "scratchers", the Boston Red Sox, her community at Meadow Court and her family.  She is survived by her sons and their spouses, James D. Collins and his wife MaryGen Collins of Beverly and Charles H. Collins and his wife Jill Collins of Lynn, her grandchildren Jenna L. Collins of NH, Gavin C. Collins of Lynn, James D. Collins Jr. of Beverly and Nathan J. Collins of Beverly, siblings Patricia Flaherty of Hudson, late husband John Flaherty,   John Collins of NH, wife Kathleen Collins of NH, George Collins, wife Florence Collins of Lynn, Rev. James R. Collins of RI,          Sister-in-Law of Gloria Collins of Saugus and Cathleen Collins of Florida and was the sister of the Late Henry Collins, Thomas Collins and Sr. Elaine Collins CSJ, Aunt of many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Cousin of Mary F. Clutchey and her husband Thor Jourgensen and many friends at Meadow Court in Lynn.

Her funeral is Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary Church, 8 South Common Street, Lynn at 12:30.  Visitation is Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, Bethany Hall.
